IAM Foundations to Implementation Program

You understand IAM.
This is where you implement it.

Most IAM training teaches you what things are. This program teaches you how to build them - hands-on, live, with an 18-year IAM Expert.

Sound familiar?

IAM knowledge is not the problem. Plenty of people understand the concepts.
The gap is proven, hands-on implementation ability. That is what employers ask for, clients pay for, and most training never actually builds.

I know what provisioning is. But when I sit in front of the platform I don't know where to start.

IT Professional

I've been in support for two years. I understand IAM concepts but every implementation role asks for hands-on experience I haven't got.

Support Engineer

I can advise clients on IAM strategy. But when it gets deep into configuration I have to rely on someone else in the room.

The transformation

What changes when you can
actually implement IAM

Before the program
  • You explain IAM concepts but struggle to configure them
  • You rely on documentation and hope something works
  • Job postings ask for hands-on experience you cannot prove
  • Client conversations stop at architecture, not implementation
  • You watch others get implementation roles and wonder how
  • Labs feel disconnected from how real enterprise deployments work
After the program
  • You configure end-to-end provisioning flows from scratch
  • You understand why things break and how to fix them
  • You have working implementations to point to in any interview
  • You can go deeper with clients on technical delivery
  • You understand how IGA and Access Management connect
  • You think like an implementer, not a reader of documentation
Curriculum

Five weekends.
Real implementations.

Each module ends with something working that you built yourself, not a slide deck summary.

MODULE 01
IAM Architecture and the Identity Lifecycle
How IAM fits inside enterprise IT. Directories, protocols, and the Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle with real org examples. Sets the foundation for everything that follows.
Foundation
MODULE 02
IGA: Provisioning and Lifecycle Automation
Build a working provisioning pipeline from an HR source into a directory. Configure connectors, mappings, and automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver flows end-to-end.
IGA
MODULE 03
Roles, Policies and Access Certification
Design a role model, configure RBAC policies, and run an access certification campaign. How enterprises govern who has access to what and prove it to auditors.
IGA
MODULE 04
SSO, MFA and Access Management
Configure Single Sign-On, MFA, and federation on an enterprise Access Management platform. Build SAML and OIDC integrations from scratch.
Access Management
MODULE 05
Integration, Real Talk and What Comes Next
Connect IGA and AM. Understand how enterprise projects actually run: tradeoffs, escalations, client conversations, and how to position yourself for implementation roles.
Integration
How it works

Live. Hands-on.
You build it yourself.

01
Set Up Your Lab
You receive full setup instructions after registering. Lab runs on your own machine. You arrive on day one ready to build, not troubleshoot installs.
02
5 Live Weekend Sessions
Each session is 3 to 4 hours of live instruction. You follow along in your own environment in real-time, not watching someone else configure things on a screen.
03
Build, Break, Fix
Every module ends with a configuration you built yourself. When things break you learn why. That is where real understanding comes from, not polished demos.
04
360° Support & Community
Small cohort intentionally with live Q&A. Plus, you get 30 days of post-program support to help with your IAM interviews and independent lab work after the live sessions end.

FAQ

Common questions,
direct answers.

No prior IAM knowledge required. Basic IT skills are enough.. The free IAM Foundations playlist covers everything else. You do not need enterprise IAM implementation experience. That is exactly what the program builds.
You will work with enterprise-grade IAM platforms selected for both their real-world relevance and their accessibility for hands-on learning. Full details are shared after registration. Setup instructions ensure you arrive on day one ready to build.
Yes. The program is built around implementation patterns and architecture principles, not button-clicking. The provisioning logic, role design, federation setup, and troubleshooting approaches transfer directly to any major enterprise IAM platform you encounter in your career.
Sessions are scheduled to accommodate US and European participants. Exact times are confirmed and shared before the program starts. All sessions are recorded for participants who cannot attend live.
I don't just teach and disappear. This is a 360-degree program, meaning you get 30 full days of post-program support. I will personally help you prepare for IAM implementation interviews and support you as you continue building out your independent hands-on labs.
Dates are confirmed and shared with everyone who registers interest first. Group size is kept intentionally small. Register your interest to be notified when the next cohort opens.
